Hyperlinks

Definition

A hyperlink will help you to link your spreadsheets to each other. When you click on the block with the hyperlink then the sheet will automatically go to the sheet which you specified.

Example

In our workbook we have two sheets. Sheet A and Sheet B. We can link these two sheets with a hyperlink.

Let’s start in sheet A. Stand on the cell where you want the hyperlink. In this case A1. Right click on the cell and go to hyperlink at the bottom of this screen that pops up.



Always select “place in this document”. Then simply tell excel where to link the cell to. In this case to b and then click ok. Your hyperlink is now done. If you click on cell A1, it will go to sheet b. In the below you can see the text shows blue to show there is a hyperlink on this cell.
