Networkingdays formula

The networkingdays formula calculates the number of working days between two dates. This excludes weekends. You can also specify holidays.

The only trick here is that you have to insert the number format in the start and end dates. It is thus advisable to rather select cells with dates in.

In this example we selected a start date of 2007/05/30 (38232) and end date of 2007/05/01 (39203). This gives us 22 working days in that month. If you input dates (you can select a list) in the holiday field, then that dates will also be excluded if it falls within your range.
