Rounding

You can use excel ro automatically round your numbers.

Round

You can either do a normal rounding, where it will rounddown is it is below 0.5 or round up if it is over 0.5. For example if I have a number in cell A1, and that number is 5.435. If I use the normal round formula, the result will be 5.4, if I round to the first decimal. See below.

The second field calles" Num_digits" is to which decimal you want to round. If I make this 2, it will look like follows:

Rounddown

It is also possible to force excel to rounddown. This is done by the rounddown formula. See below:

The normal rounding of 5.678 would have been 5.7, but we used rounddown, so it takes it to 5.6

Roundup

The same as rounddown, you can also round up. See below:
