The different toolbars in excel

The toolbars is situated on top. If you click on them the different options will show just below them.

Also note that at the bottom of some bar you will see a small arrow. This means that there is more options if you click on this.

Home toolbar

The home toolbar is mainly used for formatting.

Insert toolbar

The insert toolbar is used to insert objects, pictures and other objects for example pivot tables into your spreadsheet

Page layout toolbar

The page layout helps you with setting to print.

Formulas toolbar

The formulas toolbar is where you will find all your formulas in excel and other functions relating to formulas

Data toolbar

The data toolbar gives you option to use with importing and exporting data and also links in your spreadsheets

Review toolbar

The review toolbar helps with reviewing your spreadsheet for example comments and protection.

View toolbar

The review toolbar helps you to set up the spreadsheet to view according to your needs.

Developer toolbar

This toolbar is not shown when you start excel. Please see macros for how to insert this toolbar

The developer tab is where you find the objects to use with macros and VBA coding.
